About The Nursery

Micro nursery specializing in plants, trees and shrubs of the Ottawa valley.

Small-batch nursery offering ferns, wildflowers, shrubs and sedges native to the Ottawa Valley. Plants offered in seasonal succession — spring through fall — with local curbside pickup only in Ottawa East.

We primarily offer plants that have been propagated in our own nursery and never sell anything taken from the wild. Over the years, we've responsibly collected seed from our local region and used it to establish nursery-grown plant populations. All of our new plants are propagated from these cultivated sources.To support strong genetic diversity, most of our potted plants are grown from seed. Seed-grown plants help preserve the widest possible range of genetic variation, but this also means that rebuilding our inventory can take time.
